I am a life long resident of Mansfield, Ohio. I graduated from Malabar with the bicentennial class of 1976 and from The Ohio State University in March, 1982 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual major in accounting and finance.
Upon graduation, I worked with a local accounting firm until 1986. During this time, I had first hand experience in working with many small businesses and sat for and passed the CPA exam. I started my practice in the summer of 1986, with the philosophy of providing the highest level of accounting service for my clients. My business has undergone many changes over the years but I have worked hard to maintain the same focus on my clients and their financial needs.
We moved to our current location, on Westview Blvd. in the fall of 2000. During my 26 years of having my own accounting practice, I have enjoyed the flexibilty that being self employed provides, especially being able to spend time with my children, Kristin and Scott.

I spent nine years coaching boy's soccer and have enjoying watching my son and his friends mature over the years. This core group of young men went on to achieve the best record for boy's soccer in the Mansfield Sr. High school history. My memories from these years will be cherished always. I believe my business afforded me the opportunity to spend this time with my son. Scott is finishing up his college work at the University of Akron studying accounting. We are excited to have him on our team here at the office!
Our daughter, Kristin, is now living in Norfolk, VA where her fiance is stationed. He is a Marine and we are excited to have him join our family. Kristin is an RN and is working at Sentara Hospital in Norfolk. She is also working to get her Masters degree and be a nurse practitioner; she is in the graduate program at Ohio State University in the distance learning class. Still a buckeye!
On October 18, 2009, during a brisk sunny morning, in Columbus Ohio, I ran my first marathon. It was a great physical and mental challenge. My emotions went from an absolute low with fatigue and exhaustion to an extreme high of exhiliation when after four hours and fifty seven minutes, I set a personal record (finished) and acheived my goals - finishing before five hours and not walking or crying during the marathon.
Let's see how many of you are reviewing this site for new content! $50.00 off your next invoice for the FIRST customer who can correctly pick Scott and Nick out of the group in the soccer picture above! .... GO....
Beth A. Keefer, CPA
I graduated from the Ohio State University in March, 1985 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, my major was Production and Operations Management. Directly out of college, I started my career at the General Motors Plant in Ontario and worked there until our daughter, Kristin, was born in May, 1988. I then worked for Bill in a number of roles including clerical, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.
Once our son, Scott, was in school, I pursued the qualifications needed to sit for the CPA exam which included my work experience and sucessfully passing the Ohio Accountancy Equivalency Exam. After passing the CPA exam, I became a shareholder and Vice President of William C. Keefer & Associates, CPAs, Inc.
I enjoy working with our clients to help them establish effective administrative workflow processes so that we have access to timely and accurate accounting records. I am especially interested in the proper use of technology to help our clients acheive their goals. Currently I am working to finish the requirements to obtain the ABV credential sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This stands for Accredited in Business Valuation and I am excited to be able to offer this service. I believe this knowledge will be beneficial to all businesses. In addition to full valuation engagements, we can use this knowledge to help you move your company higher on the value curve.

The pictures here are of my first tandem skydiving experience. Our daughter, Kristin, has a friend who wanted to skydive to celebrate her 21st birthday. The only friend she could find interested in this high energy activity was Kristin and Kristin knew I would be interested too. This past August, the birthday girl, her sister and Mom, Kristin, and I all made our first tandem jump from 10,500 feet. What a great experience!
My tandem partner was Larry who is an army ranger who paratroops for the military so I felt I was in good hands. We jumped at a small airport in Lebanon, Ohio - just north of Cincinnati. If you are interested - check out their website at start skydiving.com.
We had an exciting addition to our family this past summer. Our son, Scott, married his high school sweetheart. On July 14, 2012, we were proud to welcome Christina into our family. I have posted some of the wedding pictures on the last two pages of the website if you want to check them out. The pictures were taken by " A New Day Photography ". We are looking forward to another wedding on April 27, 2013 when our daughter, Kristin, will marry Seth Cooper, also from Mansfield. Seth is now in the Marines and is currently deployed to Roda, Spain. I have a couple pictures of them on this website also.
